I am looking at buying the universal cruise control kit - Rostra 250-1223 Universal Cruise Control Kit with 250-3421 for my 62 Signet.

Any feedback on this item is appreciated.

Thanks, Peter

Just for reference, I once fabricated a sensor near the tranny output shaft, using a couple of very small ceramic refrigerator magnets wired to the shaft-- two, so that it was relatively sure to retain balance, and using picture wire wrapping them on because I didn't trust any glue to hold against centrifugal force.

The sensor? A Chrysler electronic ignition pickup, for 1972-newer vintage. :)

I thought I would have a photo, but can't find it...
