I can't yet find any parts for the older 6 bolt pumps, like what is original on my '62 /6. Is there any source for these parts any more? If not, does anyone one know if I could get a newer 5 bolt Melling and take out the thicker pump gears and just have them machined thinner for my older case?

And is there any source for the gears?

Saw that.....I might call. With 3 thicknesses of gears, it is hard to know what would be in a kit without specifics.

Anyone have a later melling gear set handy to measure the dimensions?

The 3 sizes are 5/8, 7/8 and 1 inch.
I can build a "blueprinted" oil pump using any of the sizes listed and install a case hardened (heat treated) drive gear.
