first off all. awesome forum and its fun to see all the people dedicated to the slant six :)

its my first time working on these engines so my experience is limited there,
im trying to change the gasket for the intake/exhaust and the 2 screw's right under the the center to intake is impossible to get to. do you need any special tools or is it easier to take the engine out of the car?.

and getting help for engines like the slant six here in Norway is not a easy joob. so this is my best shot :)

You definitely do not need to remove the engine, you just have to feel around, locate the nuts, play around with different sized 1/4 inch extensions and you will get it.
