Just tore down my 68 . I noticed that #3 has no oil hole.
Is this normal? If not should I drill?

Sorry . The missing hole on the big end of the rod.

No oil spurt hole in a factory con rod is a factory mistake... it should be there.
having one missing hole is not a "show stopper for an ol'SL6... the other 5 will "cover".
If you are rebuilding the engine, either replace that con rod or drill the missing hole.
