So I just bought the Coffee truck of my dreams 1969 dodge swift P200 postal van and it is 100 % in the body but it has a variety of issues. So I am not a mechanic and I am starting from very little background but up for the challenge. The engine is a 225 slant six which everyone says is awesome. The wiring is totally canobilized , the engine really wants to start but at the base of the carb it is leaking gas. The Dash is looking really sad and the manual choke doesn't work so I have been manually opening it. still no luck

I would like to see what people recommend in term of manuals that can start me along the road to getting educated to sort through this project.

Signed

over my head but liking it

You need to get in touch with board member JCAllison. He also has a late 60s odge P series mail truck. He will be able to offer you good advice.

I would go to www.mymopar.com and download wiring digrams and manuals for similar year Mopar cars. It won't be exact but it will give you a good start.

Do you live on Denman Island year 'round? Looks like a cool place (no pun intended!)
