Stephen, sorry for not responding earlier.
The Aspen/Volare and the other F/M/J-bodies, have 90° angled torsion bar springs that is placed in the front of the K-member. It is totally different from the A-bodies.

I finally gave up. After years of weekly oiling the poly UCA bushings, they started to slip within the confines of the cam bolts. I pulled the UCAs and the bushings were worn on the outer edges where the ridges are and the cam bolts all had wear spots. Not a good situation and fail was certain. So I have gone back to the rubber bushings. I double nutted the new cam bolts as I was not too happy with knowing they can loosen up just from over oiling. So now with the rubber bushings, I have no squeaks, won't have to oil them anymore and have no worries of bolts loosening. Sorry Poly.

I only use rubber UCA bushings (MOOG offset bushings) in my cars, even on track. I do have one car with Heim joints, but that is not for long term street use.

so even the graphite impregnated poly bushings don't stop the squeak?

I was trying to order the rubber bushings from PST for my '72 and got the poly ones. Not sure which end made the mistake. They boast their poly parts are Polygraphite so I assume these are similar to the poly graphite impregnated ones you mention and this is the type I got. The bushings were so noisy I didn't want to drive the car. I used the PST poly UCA bushing on my '64 Valiant and have had no noise issues for 9 years. Not sure where the difference is. I found a Teflon bicycle chain lube that if applied weekly would stop the squeaking. Unfortunately I think all this oiling lead to the cam bolts loosening and the bushings where spinning on the cam bolts wearing out both the bushings and the cam bolts and blowing my alignment. Maybe the squeaky ones were just poly urethane and that's what made them noisy and the '64 is graphite so it's quiet. Maybe someone here knows more.
