Since we're talking about studs, what have you guys done with the main caps? Did you stud the mains or just stuck with bolts?

My motor is arp studded mains, arp rod bolts, the current 180000 arp head studs. Yes! just lemme know how much I owe and when I can expect them so I can figure out when I wanna yank my engine out lol

How did you procure the bottom end arp studs? Are there part numbers for the rod bolts and end cap studs? Did you run stock caps?

I have the k1 connecting rods with the weisco pistons they came with the arp rod bolts and I just ordered the mains from summit or arp I can't remeber they should be just an off the shelf part if I recall nothing custom like these 220,000 head studs.
Just FYI if you have arp rod bolts put in you must have the rods resized because changing the rod bolts will distort the rod just in case to let ya know.

Plenty of companies online carry the main stud kits. I believe Campbellenterprises has them?

Aftermarket billet main caps with studs.

I changed the order today. We won't have to wait for the new pricing now because we are ordering the six sets. They have my credit card number to start the process. They will be sending me the confirmation dimensions on Monday. Alex said he would expedite the order because we had to wait so long for the pricing. The nuts will be 12pt unless you want 6pt so let me know if you want 6pt.

If all of you ordering sets would pm me your e-mail I will send you my address and you can send me a check once I have the cost.


If anyone still wants in I can up the order until I sign the confirmation.
