ive got a 62 valiant with the pushbutton 904, and i am considering keeping the pushbutton trans rather than going to an adapter kit for the shifter. i have a 1970 225 to install, is this possible? do i just need a custom torque converter to make it work?

PM Charlie_S and get a spacer ring from him for the crank register. You will also need the early oil pan and pickup, and early motor mounts. Everything will bolt together.

I have the adapter rings. If you want one send me a PM. You will need the flexplate for the later engine. If you don't have one with the engine, they are available from most any part store. Might have to be ordered.
