Hi
I have 225 that I just did a 4bbl manifold swap on, and I looking for any advice about how to get the kick down lever system in place...for some reason it doesn't seem to want to fit into place anywhere I need it to and the instructions are as clear as mud

Thanks,
LG73

You will need to fabricate something. Nothing is going to bolt on. I like the Gearhead cable kick down for $30. You still need to make up a bracket for up top to hold the cable in the right place. Here is what I did to my truck.

I have a Lokar lockdown cable on my Offy manifold. It was a little more expensive than the setup Rick has, but like he said, you will need to fab up something.

I figured as much, it was just what it needed to look like was the issue. The instructions mention some type of L-bracket but I think I can make one like Rick's that'll work
