If your mirrior has a snap ring that holds the glass in(some do, some don't) you can remove the glass and you will find a screw that just needs tightened. If the glass is not removable, set your mirror and drip super glue into the ball and socket.That was a fix from Mopar Action magazine.And if you have to adjust after the glue dries, you can as the hardened glue will tighten the ball and socket clearance.
