Just wanted to get a poll from you guys. Explain why you do or don't run them if you don't mind.

Tks Ron

I dont, Other than the extra weight, I see no reason Not too.

I wonder if they are more consistent in the 60' Etc?

My slicks hold air well with no tubes.

Unless you have a car that really hits the sidewalls I would not bother. :D

See what the tire maker recommends. The small M&H slicks on my Cuda require tubes. The problem is they are 22x8x13, and no one has a tube available that will fit. The tires actually leak air out the sidewall, by about 5 lbs a day. M&H told me to coat the inside of the tire with Dawn dish washing detergent. It works. But why can't the company, put something in the tire to prevent the problem?

Like a bead lock? LOL sorry just had to....

I use used stock car tires. There a little hard but they do the job. And I can get 4 for $60.

I run a small amount (2 oz.) of 'Slime' in my street tires. They will go for a years without needing any topping up with air.
