I picked up this combo from an old timer in my town recently who had it on his '41 Plymouth. He did not install the system but rather it was cobbled together from the previous owner who hatched this brainchild over a few years and supplied a binder full of info on how to make it work and what is needed etc. I have yet to delve into this page turning novel but it's on my to-do list before I even turn a wrench. Here is the visual part which is a dual carb Offy intake with dual throttle bodies.

The injector and computer side of things appear to be from a mid-'80s batch fire Oldsmobile V-6. I need to remove my fuel tank to do some body work, so this will be a good opportunity to install a pump in the tank and add my return line. Besides that I just really need to do some homework. I won't be starting the install for a month or so while I clear the garage from other Winter projects but I'm pretty excited to dig in.
Feel free to ridicule and criticize my plans as needed.

I just wanted to comment on how nice the system looks, very clean and tidy; hope it works out for you.

You and me both Brian. The red brace on the injectors is actually a piece of old bed frame I think and was used to keep the fuel rail from pulling out. It will be the first thing to go.

Very cool. You might consider running the EFI with Megasquirt. See msefi.com and diyautotune.com.

That's the one Sandy, thanks. ('41 Dodge not Plymouth) I had a feeling there was something floating around the interwebs about this set-up. I think there has been considerable tweaking and tuning since changing hands from the original builder. Everything was running great...until it wasn't for the fellow that I bought it from. It was running really rich and he tried a few different tricks to fool the computer into leaning it out but ultimately he just wanted something more mechanical that he knew better. Upon diss-assembly he discovered that the vacuum port sensor? was unplugged. Whoops. Regardless, I'm stoked to learn about something new and have a bit of fun in the garage.

I wish I had this and some money to make an easy plug and play fuel injection system for the slant six.

As far as additional pics, there isn't much to see except some very well labeled wires and the computer with a few fuel lines. I'll know more once I start doing my homework and sorting through the tangle. I would like to see if I can make this system work as-is but have considered using mega squirt for my plan B.

Very cool. Can't wait to see how this project comes along. On other sites i have heard people having problems with the ecm controlling or reading two throttle bodies instead of one for things like throttle position sensor and idle air control motor. I never heard how they fixed the problem.

I have rebuilt many systems from V8 boats with duel TBI from Chevy trucks but I am always told the stock ECM has been modified. Maybe the early Olds style ecm will work fine. Keep us up dated.

I'm pretty keen to get working on this system as well but I need to button up some other projects before opening a fresh can of worms. I'll try to document my progress when I get started and post it here.

Are you planned to use 2 MAP sensors as there is now 2 separated manifolds?

I'm not entirely sure yet. this was a functioning FI set-up already. I still need to do a lot of homework before I dig in.

I don't agree. The Offy 2×1 intake has a balance tube connecting the front 3 and the rear 3.
