Has anyone used the Brake Kit available from PST? I've done some searching but have only found info on their suspension kits.

Here's the kit in question
http://www.p-s-t.com/s.nl/it.A/id.7984/.f?sc=12

I plan on pairing this with a full suspension rebuild kit from them but I wanted to make sure the brake kit is going to work for my car. Or if there is a better kit available let me know.

This would be going onto a 68 Dart 4 door

Personally, I would talk to DoctorDiff(.com) and use one of his front disc kits and maybe order suspension parts from him too. He is a true Mopar dude, and makes really nice kits. I would be a DoctorDiff kit will give more braking power and better feel than that kit and for about the same price.

I have bought two rear diffs from him and recently a rear disc brake kit. I have to say the rear disc kit was one of the easiest aftermarket kits I have installed of any kind. Very nicely engineered.

You might call him and ask what he can do to put together a kit match that PST kit but with better components.

Slant on,

Lou

I've got the PST front brake kit on my '64 Dart. I also used their front suspension rebuild kit. It all went together smoothly, even though somehow u didn't get any instructions in any of the boxes.

In all honesty the PST kit is really just all parts manufactured by Right Stuff. If you took your time and made up a complete parts list, you could probably order the parts yourself and save some bank. Other than the drop spindles, about every thing came drop shipped from Right Stuff.

As far as how well they work, I have no complaints. It stops worlds better than the old drum brakes ever did! It does have what sounds like pad to rotor contact when I turn right, but I haven't verified the actual problem yet.
