That indeed was the culprit. Even though my D100 is a Mopar, I used a Painful Wiring kit for a sixties chebby.

This is a prime reason to use the master disconnect with the second set of contacts in it. NHRA requires that ALL electrical circuits go dead when the master is turned off.
My T-bucket has one right at the battery's positive post, and the N/D, one-wire alternator's output goes directly to it before it gets to the battery. When I turn it off, everything dies.
