Specific Question:

When adjusting the valves hot, how snug should the feeler gauge be, i.e. should it slide easily between or otherwise how much force should it take to engage it/withdraw it into and out of between the stem and the rocker?

Thanks this is time sensitive, I want to adjust my valves tonight.
