My A-903 TRIPPLE SPEED WOUNDER...have started to bleed bad thru speedometer wire inlet...

I asked around at our local US speedshop here in my hometown for spare part rubber but he had no info on this mopar part...there is an O-ring and an inner rubber seal...

(also need rubber cover for clutch fork in the bellhousing)

So my questions:

* Partnumbers

* Any suggestion on a fast-delivery speedshop i US with those seals on shelf...?

* Are these seals found in other mopar trannys...?

Yes the late speedometer gear housings are interchangeable between transmissions from about 1966/67 up to the 80's...so if you have an A-904 auto, or a 4 speed, etc... the O-ring, and assembly can just be switched between them as needed once you've cleaned it up and reinstalled with the correct gear.

Clutch Fork boot can be found over the counter at Brewer's Performance....

No, sir. Those are not part numbers. Those are part type codes. They're present on the illustration pages of the factory parts catalogues. You look up the type code on the illustration page, then you turn to the subsequent pages and find the type code, then look within that code for your particular car/engine/transmission/configuration in the list, and find the part number, which has 7 digits and no dashes.

You will need the parts catalog for the year of your vehicle to do it, those numbers do not cross reference in the late manuals I have.

I found a copy of the "..1965 Passenger Car Parts Catalog.." out here in the great pond...

The codes translates as thus:

#21-84-28 "Seal Speedometer Cable Adapter" equals #1942 259
#21-85-56 "Seal Pinion" equals #2124 328

Both are Valiant/Dart numbers...
