Hi guys:

After 4 years, i finally finish "almost" my dodge aspen.
The slanty was ok. But the A904 maybe not. When i start the engine after some minutes to take temp i put it in D instantly engage (i feel the push) it comes with a vibration then release the brake pedal and it moves but when i push the acelerator it don't engage till high rpm and the shift to 2nd gear is at high rpm too. I have to take the pedal almost the floor. Before rebuild this wasn't like this. Shift are smooth and have no vibration and have a lot of aceleration sometimes the rear wheels sound when i push the pedal. But now nothing.... the fluid level is ok in the tranny and in the engine too, timing is 10º before, and idle is near 800 850 rpm. When i go trekking for a hill it loose force and goes so slow at high rpm.

Some idea... i think maybe the kickdown linkage or the front band heeeelp!!!!

Sounds like the rear clutch (drive) is not holding.
Run the pressure checks per the FSM.

Thanks doc... but what is FSM
and to do the pressure test had to lift up the car?

Another fact is when i put it in reverse. This shift function is better than to forward

"Factory Service Manual" same as used by Chrysler tecks at the dealership; this publication is vital to have on hand. Haines and other generic shop manuals are a waste of money.

Car needs to be preferably on a lift or much less desrible jack stands. Pressures check ports are located on side of transmission where one attaches gages. Tests are conducted while engine is running and wheels turning.
