Car Flooded in DEEPWATER! Cranks but won't start!
It is still raining way too hard to work on my Dart. I am assuming at this time that the points are wet. Has anyone ever had this problem? and if so what did you run into? Any advice Great Appreciated! (and yeah I know, don't drive into deep water! )

The "WD" in WD-40 stands for water dispersing.

:D SlantSixDan, Thoroughly enjoy your answers every time!
WD-40 will be my next step, if it ever stops raining. (I have nowhere to work on my car inside)

Hope everything else is staying dry, Dan. That Stevie Ray Vaughan song comes to mind...

Yes it has been a Texas Flood! I saw a train derail because the tracks washed out! Once it slows down or hopefully stops raining I can fix my points. Plan to go HEI in the near future, just lacking a few parts.

I think we just got a dose of that wet weather that passed through the Loan Star State earlier this week here in Maine. It rain hard all night, blew to beat the band, and we lost power early this morning. Oh, it was in the low sixties last night, instead of the normal high 20's
