Hi all, I have my car almost back together. I got every clip and doohickey back where they belong except I have this ground wire left over. It looks to be 14 ga with a 5/16 or 3/8 ring terminal on either end. Its 10 or 12 inches long. I'm assuming it goes from somewhere on the back of the engine to somewhere on the firewall. So if someone out there has a 70-72 slant A body can you check your car and tell me which two fasteners it goes on. Thanks in advance

There should be a ground wire connected to back of head and fire wall. I attached this conductor to one of the two unused bolt holes located between valve cover and manifold, and to a bolt on fire wall. Just make sure if you add a new bolt to fire wall it is clear of heater box, wiper linkage, and any wire under dash.

My wife''s 70 Valiant has a strap from rear engine lift bracket bolt to 2 o'clock blower stud.

Not sure if this is original (PO installed 73+ manifolds, carb & choke so maybe strap is from donor car.)
