for stephs.....the carb is a wild card. Looking to get another suitable one.

Orig. would have been the Carter, but Ifound this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-1967-DODGE ... 2019712523

too pricey.....but is this all that's out there? opinions?

The one you linked is overpriced; that's new-carb price territory I would not pay for a "remanufactured" carb. But unless you happen to stumble into unusual and scarce luck, you are going to spend money for a good carburetor.

Well, it boils down to how well you want the car to run and how much money and/or time you have in the budget for it.

well you know the drill..... I don't want to spend anything, and i want it to run perfect! lol

I was just checking the part numbers on R_ckA_to. Seems to me the 170 cu.in and 198s got the BBS C1s and the Holley H1 1920s went on the 225s.

That is a myth that just refuses to die. No, there were Carter BBSs and Holley 1920s on 170s, 198s, and 225s. And there were even Bendix-Stromberg WA3s on 225s in one particular year.

Check this company out. They seem to have done good work on the carb on my truck.

according to "their" book:

67-68 Carter ND1164

62-68 Holley 1920: Hook throttle: ND1127, U shape throttle: ND1125 and L shaped throttle: ND1126.

What the heck do those throttle linkages correspond to? What linkage goes to what year car?

thanks

If you have one in need of rebuild maybe they could rebuild your existing carb.
