ok,, let me see if I understand correctly,,

Headers are ok to use.. They will require more maintenance and upkeep.
They will improve horse power.
Headers will require a longer time to warm up..

Is my understanding correct??

Yes, and the longer warm-up leads to more engine wear especially in the pistons rings and cylinders. The way you wrote that you use the truck I don't feel that the few horsepower gained is worth the trouble.

Definitely, NO HEADERS....

So,, now for the second decision,, two barrel intake, or Offenhauser manifold... Does it matter which one I use?? Or is one favored over another for daily driver..
