So I just got the correct linkage for my slant. From what I am reading and from all pics I could find are for carter or edelbrock carbs . I have a Holley 390 single pump. Will the linkage work ? Any pics or suggestions on how to install correctly? Thanks for the help [/quote]

There is a specific Holley throttle lever adapter for Mopar. To operate the throttle correctly, you will need that for a cable linkage. Without it, you will not get full operation of the throttle shaft.
I'm not aware of any unmodified OEM rod linkages that will work with the Holley 4bbl.
The simplest way to deal with kick-down is a cable type linkage. In all cases of which I am aware, at least minimal fabrication will be required to mount a kick-down cable.
I use the same linkage arrangement with either Holley or Carter/Edelbrock. Cable throttle, and Lokar cable kick-down. There are differences in the kick-down adjustment changing between the Holley and the Edelbrock. This is pretty easy with the Lokar.
