I am rebuilding the engine wire harness for a 83 dodge. Mice chewed the wires up. Using a 83 service manual to track the wires to their correct connection (by color coded wires) My question is regarding the California ONLY coolant temperature sensor. Can not find anywhere what sensor to buy. It is a two wire sensor with the prongs each on an opposite slant ( like this / \ ) (not the senders as I know what I need there) This sensor is used only on the California models. Does anybody have an idea where to get the proper sensor? None of the major auto parts dealers seem to have it.

Can you post a picture? Is this mounted in the head or in the radiator?

It is at the front of the engine in the head near the thermostat housing. It is located near the sending units. Top of the sensor has been broken off and I have the connection which matches the configuration as shown in the service manual. The service manual states that this is only used in the Calif models. Will post a pic as soon as i can figure out how to upload it. Thanks

4091 471. No longer manufactured. Pick a switch, any switch. Is this your switch?
