I have a mechanical cam, lifters etc. I'm checking the cam degree. What is the rocker ratio on factory rockers?

Last year I got myself all screwed up doing this. Where I live - in the motorcycle world - you measure valve timing at the valve. What I learned after wasting a bunch of time and confusing myself is that on a slant 6 you measure cam timing at the lifter.

Yep. Do Not try to degree a cam off the rocker arm.

Are you using the intake centerline method or just valve opening/closing?

Idk. Lol I've never done it with a wheel before. I have always used dot to dot so this is my first attempt at this. How should I do it?
