Hey guys.
Done a HEI upgrade on a fresh engine, had a great spark and started right up went to start it today to set the valves and other things, and no start so after looking around I found that I had no spark, I can't find the problem, I put in new coil, module even took out the distributor and checked the pickup with my OHM meter, check and double check all the grounds, I'm at my whiz end.
here's my wiring-Module W=white wire distributor. G=black wire distributor.
B=coil wire + side. C= coil wire - side....plus 12v to + coil side.
Now no spark ???? Help
Thanks
Mike

i just went thru this...

first i checked power to the positive side of the coil with a test light...
turn switch and see if you have power to the postive terminal? Yes

everything is good up side of coil!!
its either your module (Points in my application), coil, condensor
OR NOTE YOU MAY HAVE SOMETHING GROUNDED AND ITS SHORTING YOUR FIRE!

i changed coil and condensor and still had no fire, then i checked and saw that one of my connections could be making contact with my backing plate under my points (the one from my condensor) removed this and moved it around were it wasnt touching and BOOM....got my fire back!
