I just replaced my gas tank, sending unit, and fuel lines. My filler tube has rust on the section that goes into the tank. It doesn't seem to be available in the aftermarket. What are my options? I was thinking of soaking it to derust it and then coat with tank liner. But I wanted to ask for suggestions before I begin.
