Is the Garrett t04 with a .50 AR a suitable tubocharger for a 170 and/or 225 cu in slant?

Which compressor? Also, this post should be in the Boost & Nitrous section.

Thank you Josh; the turbo sits on an International Harvestor I6 diesel right now so I can get numbers and ask in the correct forum.

I don't know much about turbochargers at all, but my opinion (worthless, at best,) would be that since a 225 is 30 percent bigger (swept-volume, ) than a 170, it would be impossible to expect that whatever works on one motor would work well on the other. Turbochargers are not at all, a "one-size-fits-all" deal... they come in all different flow-capabilities for engines that match their output, so you need to specify the size of that Diesel engine that is donating its 'charger, because it MIGHT be just the right size for one of the size motors you are asking about.

Hope this helps...
