I went to a local carb rebuilder and asked if he ever saw any 2305's he said yes and he had one on the shelf that he rebuilt for a guy a couple of years ago and the guy never came back to pick it up. So I bought it. He is gonna go back through it to freshen it up, let me pick thru his 2 barrel adapters, and glass bead it and clear coat it all for $180. it is a 80120 350 cfm and will go on my offy 4bbl. manifold.
My first try at postin a pic......

You got a winner... That's a great find, and a good price.

Be aware that some of the parts for this carb are unique to the 2305 and can't be replaced if broken or lost... all the common parts like jets, shooters, etc... are common with the 2300/4150/4160....

I used one with a slightly hopped up engine with the super six and Mr. gasket adapter in my Beater Valiant.

It was on a manual transmission car, so no linkage to really worry about, used a minivan accelerator cable, and an over the counter bracket in the aftermarket aisle to anchor the end at the carb.

Power was about as expected from a Holley 350 cfm, gas mileage was OK but not as good as a Holley 390, some of that was the cam choice I think.

I am thinking of mounting mine sideways. For 2 reasons one for linkage to be orientated in a straight shot. 2 to align the throttle plates with the outer part of the offy opening. When the carb is in the center part of the manifold is directly below the opening.
