Are there any 3.504 pistons available any more?

Just curious.

Thanks,

Greg

Harley 1200cc sportster engines are 3.5" bore....

With oversize pistons you can get a little more.

Not sure about the pin diameter or height................

I think Seymour did a motor with Harley pistons. I IRC, there is a Corvair piston that works too. :D

I used 3 7/16" Corvair pistons from TRW but the only source of .010 over rings so you could file the gap was Harley Davidson. You can still get .060 over Corvair pistons which would be 3.4975" from Clarks Corvair parts.

These days you can get pistons available in virtually any size you want at a reasonable price. For example, JE Pistons has their custom sizing order form here:

http://www.jepistons.com/Articles/2weekstandard.aspx

Often it's something like $10 per piston extra for a custom size. Unbelievably cheap.

Ross broke a set of 3.500" customs off in my ass. They were anything but cheap.
