I was going threw my grandfathers old parts, I found this Electronic Box that is clearly a mopar part. I compared it to my 77 and 79... they Both have these small black Box, it has a straight connector with 3 pins in it. It has 1 mounting ear hole on the top. I never really noticed this before, was wonder what it is and what it does, considering its not required for electronic ignition.... at least I think sense I never seen it used it conversions.

Tomarrow I will post the part number on it, sense its out in the shop. On my 77 Volare(225-2) its on the firewall... just right of middle just about the valve cover area. On my 79 Dodge Truck(360-2) its near the drivers side fender corner of the firewall...

E.G.R. Time delay.
A.k.a. Exhaust gas recirculator vacuum timer.

E.G.R.=
An emission-control system that directs some exhaust gases back into the intake manifold to reduce the formation of nitrous-oxide (NOx) pollutants. EGRs typically operate off manifold vacuum, and therefore only operate in the off-idle state up to WOT.
