I have read a few posts that it seams like the new offenhauser valve cover doesn't seal all that good is this true ??
Is there more clearance under the offenhauser or under a stock 1968 cover

I have experience with one Offy cover. I was warped and I used 2 rubber seals and 3 layers of RTV silicone to get it sealed. It also needed some machining because of ARP head studs and nuts need some more space. But it is possible to get fit and looks cool (or hot)! It also reduces valve rocker noise!
