I frequently find OE and restoration bolts on eBay. They are not offered all the time, but you can do a search for what you're looking for and click "Follow This Search" to receive notifications when new items are posted. You will need to be logged into eBay for this to work.

Some knowledge of bolt interchange is helpful - most vendors know what they have and have been accommodating with usability questions.

Perhaps someone smarter than I am can post/create a bolt interchange matrix. I'd be happy to format it into a spreadsheet if someone has the data.

That information is very helpful. I am still realizing that bolts are missing for my build and trying to figure out what sizes I need. Thanks

I have checked out many of the websites referenced on this thread. I appreciate the responses. Some of them were helpful; others were not.

I tried a half dozen places in my area that gave me funny looks when I said I was looking for a 3/4" thick fine thread bolt. However, "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man." They carry all variations of bolt sizes. And, I found a bolt that will work in the crank I've been looking for to turn over the engine.

My only snag is finding an exact match for some of the bolts in my rebuild. The lengths in some seem to be abnormal. Nevertheless, I think Ace is my place...for now.

Stacking washers under the head of a bolt reduces its effective length.

Just an FYI...
A lot of the fasteners are the same as they are for the Mopar V-8 cousins.
Valve cover bolts, oil pan bolts, etc. So, when in doubt, look for the same thing in a V8.

On the crank bolt size... it's easier to thread a nut on it, cut off with your harbor freight angle grinder and cutoff wheel.. then dress off the edges of the cut, then thread the nut off to keep the threads intact....
