I have been trying to do some research about doing a tune up. I have read about spark plugs tubes and wondering if i need them? I have a 1985 D100 truck with a 1982 (supposedly). Thanks

Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this post. Spark plug tubes were used on '60-'74 heads; '75-up heads use the smaller taper-seat "peanut" plugs without tubes.
