Sorry, meant to do this last month but have been a little busy.

Only had two pre-registered Slants on Thursday. Scott Jones came down from Salt Lake City & Mike Keller from Ontario, Calif. No others showed so they decided we would be lumped in with the Street Class. Scott left early Sunday morning before eliminations & driver error (red light) took me out in the first round of street. Had a total of 3 runs in 3 days.

Talked with Phil Painter & he said we can have our own class with 6 or 7 cars. Any less & we would be in street.

Thanks Mike!

I'll check with Lou and Crew on awarding points.

Usually don't do many races since everything else is 8 hours or more away so the points from MATS are usually my points for the season. One of these years I may surprise everyone & make the multiple drives to do a race season but it won't be this year.

Numerous Brownie Points! Is it a Lancer? That adds points...

Drop a Slant 6 in there and we'll talk further! :D

Brownie points are good as I keep losing mine with my wife. No it's not a Lancer. It's a 66 Dart Wagon. Altered wheelbase stroked 400 low 10 sec car. Not as fast as Will's car but lots of fun.

Frank came to the Slant 6 banquet this year! He is working on a Slant 6 project and plans to be at Clay City. How's that going, Frank?

The turbo'ed slant is coming along. The engine machine work should be done in a couple of weeks. The 62 Lancer it is going in still needs a lot of work. I doubt it will be done for Clay city but I have several other slants I can run. Just not as fast.

Maybe I need to stay home more. I was in Denver last weekend running in the AFX class with what my wife calls the old farts club. Lots of fun. I love the 4 tenths pro light start. Next weekend is our Mopars In The Park show so I'll be there Wednesday to Sunday. Just not enough time. This working for living also sometimes gets in the way, especially now that it's spring. I grow fruit. aftonapple.com tells you a little what we do.

You can ask Stan about me and he can tell you all kinds of lies. Believe what you want.
I would post pics but that is beyond my tech know how.

Thanks for the update, Frank! I would love to do a pro tree for our series, personally, but I bet I'm far in the minority...
