Allright folks, I'm trying to finish the disc brake swap and ran into another snag. I intended to use the proportioning valve from the Cordoba I pulled the rest of the stuff from, but it is not going to work.

I see that alot of people are using the adjustable valve from Summit. I looked it up on their site and it shows only one port in and one port out. It appears that I need two ports in and three ports out. I must be missing something here?

The Cordoba valve has two ports in ( From Master Cylinder) and three ports out ( One to rear brakes, one for each caliper on front), but they are the wrong sizes and located in the wrong positions. If I want to run the Summit valve how do I route the lines? Or is there a better solution?

Is the adjustable valve just for the rear brakes? If so, do I just put a T-fitting in the line for the front? I am confused and I really want to drive my Dart!

The factory combined the proportioning valve with the front brake lines so they could use any pressure difference to turn the idiot light on.
If you don't want that feature, follow your instinct - tee the front lines together, install the adjustable valve in the rear line, and go make some practice stops to find the sweet spot.
This is also the time to install a line lock in the front brake line for nice smoke shows  .

You know, I thought about this aver my lunch break. I think I might rather get new lines and fittings. Bend the lines to work with the Cordoba valve and use the approppriate fittings. I won't have to wait for the Summit valve to arrive in the mail, and I might save a little money. Hmmm, decisions...

The problem with the factory prop valve is weight distribution. Your car is probably 750 lbs lighter and more nose heavy than the Doba. You'll have rear lockup way early  and you won't be happy with your new brakes. The adjustable valve is money well spent. Also, you won't go nuts trying to flare all those weird size fittings onto your new lines.
