What vehicle do you have, car or truck, auto or manual transmission?

I believe the 78-80 distributors contain the best "stock" advance curve, if you all ready have that.. then you may be looking at a "performance" curve in the distributor.

AND even the best factory distributor, when adjusted, tweaked, and fiddled with, will have a much better seat of the pants feel.
