I am collecting parts for engine rebuild. With ported head, 236 (0.050”) degree cam, 3200 stall converter and 4.10 SG rear a set of H-profile rods and forged pistons are not overengineering.

Rods are sold with brands Molnar and K1. Which ones are recommended?

My head is with stock cc volume. Block is heavily milled. I will use another block for next build.

As the rods are ”198” length pistons have to be something else than ”stock slant pistons”.

What options I have for piston selection?

IIRC, Molnar and K1 are the same rod.

Molnar designed the rods when he worked at K1, then he formed his own business. They are the same design and I expect the same quality. The pistons will depend on how much your block is milled and what compression ratio you want. The Wiseco 1.6" comp ht pistons are still available, I believe, but I am not sure.
