We had 14 car show.

It came down to the two baddest footbrakers in the bunch. Rodney Hargis and Ron Parker. Rodney won when Ron squeezed the tree a little to hard in the final. Rodney ran a 8.097 on an 8.10 and Ron ran a 8.10 on a 8.10. Would have been real close!!!!! (Cant remember what Parkers 3rd digit was)

Rodney dedicated his win to his Dad.

Dale Rose and Tom Drake were the Semi finalist. Both Rodney and Ron claimed $50 each of Seymours bounty money for putting out the box cars in the semi's.

Quite a few 1/8 mile records were claimed. As soon as you guys get the info to Seymour I will mail out your $50 bonus or bring it to Bristol if you plan to attend.

We had one new racer Brian Memkin. Thanks for coming out Brian and we hope to see you at Bristol.

Thanks to all the racers who made the trip and I hope everyone had a good time!

Thanks to Tom and Leighton and the Drake Family. Class act. This was the best MOPAR event we have been to in a long time. The Piedmont MOPAR club went out of there way to host us. The Farmington Race people were first class and no problems. This should be a Annual event and i will support it next year. Tom Thanks for all of the work it paid off. :D :D :D

I received an email from the Club president. He thanked us for coming and hoped we had a good time. He extend an invitation to us to return next year.

I also had a phone call from one of the club members and he complimented us on what a nice addition to their race program we were. He also stated that they looked forward to us returning next year.

The Triangle contingent had a great time too. Very nice facility, well run, lots of pit space... We're going back next year!
