Hey guys. I just painted my intake and exhaust manifold for my slant 6. There is a stud kit on Ebay have noticed, I thought I'd see what everyone prefers these days. The "sticky" under FAQ didn't work. What's the best route for bolting everything up (budget friendly helps ).

Make sure the exhaust manifold is in good shape (no cracks, no warp where it meets the head, the exhaust pipe, and the intake manifold). If you need a replacement exhaust manifold, shop carefully; see here. Also note it is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions, and see this thread for hardware info and here for install tips.
