Hi,

I have a Carter 2 barrel carb and am trying to order an air filter for it. I don't have any attachments for the air cleaner hold down to feed into and some research on this site I wonder if I need an oil bath filter. If so, is there any sort of conversion to a paper filter? I would like to install a velocity stack of some sort, but don't know the name of the part I need. In laymans terms, I need the thing that the air cleaner hold down goes into and some sort of thing that holds the air filter.

Sincerely,

Paul Barrow

These carbs were common on 318 V-8's so you might find one a bail and an air cleaner on one in a
yard 70's-80's mopars (cars, trucks, vans....), don't think you'll find a velocity stack for this carb,
you may need to go to a Holley 0-7448 and adaptor for that.
