Generally, yes, up to '75. There was a difference in pilot bushing sizing starting in (I think) '68, so that's something to check when interchanging transmissions. There was also a re-design of the combustion chamber in '68, but that doesn't truly affect interchangeability. The slant went to cast iron crank in '76, changing the rod and main bearing dimensions, and got hydraulic lifters in '80, which included a valve cover change in that year.
Dan will need to chime in here, if you're planning to swap a '60-'62 out for a later year slant, as there's some starter issues that I don't know the details on.

I'm sure that I'm not the only one here, but I found out the hard way that you can't bolt a 68 up torque converter to a 67-older crank.
I bought an 80 Aspen back in about '88 with a bad engine, had a '63 engine given to me, pulled the old one out (which wasn't original to the car either) and went to swing the 63 engine in, and it took me a bit back then to figure out why the engine wouldn't go far enough back... The engine that i took out was older enough to be a Forged crank engine so I wound up sending that crank to the machine shop and swapping it into the 63 block

The short answer is that the only significant go/no go change to the slant six that will make a swap difficult/undoable is the crank pocket size change in 67/68. Aside from that, all slant six engines are phsically interchangeable as a unit provided the correct oil pan, oil pump pickup, and accessory backets (potentially maniflds, as well) are used. However, there are workarounds for the 67/68 crank pocket size change, some are easy depending on what you are doing.

There are other differences (68 combustion chamber revision, 76 running change from forged to cast pistons and the accompanying change in the crank, 75 introduction of the "peanut plug" head, change to the stepped rear rocker arm shaft bolt in 77/78, switch to hydraulic lifter valvetrain in 81) but these are all internal to the motor and as long as the motor is being swapped as a unit will not prevent an engine swap.
