Funny, mine did not clear my 64 Dart pan so I just left it out. Worked on the 68.

I used one of Mike's trays which was a copy of the old DC tray. I had to do some grinding on it to get it in my '66 pan.

I have an old DC windage tray in my 65 B body pan. No issues there.

I had to trim the front of my tray to fit in my '63 A-body pan.

I had a DC tray and made a pattern of it so I would have it if needed. Mikes tray was in my race car (65) until it grenaded. I had to trim about a 1/8" off the one long edge.

So these trays I am building may need everyone to "tweak" them just a bit for your engine.

Sounds good. I'm sure I was just in a hurry and not willing to trim it. Car was plenty fast...

How do you build a windage tray? You take a piece of metal and drill/cut/grind everything away that is not a windage tray. :D :D

I have begun getting the trays ready for the welder. I hope to have 10 or so of them done tomorrow and then they can go over to Robbie. For those who said you wanted one now is the time to send some money. It would be nice if you could send 50% to me now and then the rest when they are ready to ship to you.

Price will be $150 plus shipping. If we ever get to race I'll be happy to bring it to and East Coast race for you.

Slantzilla, has kindly ordered one and then told me to keep it and give away as a prize! Thank you very much Dennis!! :D :D

My email is rcovalt@embarqmail.com for Paypal, or send me a PM and let me know you are mailing a check.
To everyone please send a PM with you mailing address if you want it shipped when they are complete.

Thanks, Rick

Also for those asking about a scraper. CNCdude was sent a scraper and will be looking at it soon and telling us how much they would be for him to cut some out for us.Thank you Scott! More to come.

Thanks to all! Bolts should be here tomorrow and then they go off for machining. Probably a couple weeks for them to get to them.

Rick, if it’s not too late I’ll take one too.
Let me know and I’ll send money ASAP.
