Can anyone recommend a brand or source for good quality spool type motor mounts?

Thanks

Take your old ones, burn the old rubber out, wire brush the leftovers off and use shop press to insert
these...and never replace again... ask for the softer ones if going into a street car.

If we weren't under lockdown, Johnny used to make a trip to the valley every week and drop them
off to you...but probably he'll mail them now....

I have one set of the hard ones for the hpak car and they are pretty solid, I have a set of softer ones
that I have used in street trim and they are way better than cheap rubber.

Thanks DI,
I was going to do poly bushings anyway. The problem is I don't have good mounts to start with. I have one left mount but it's clearly a cheap knockoff. Not even flat where it bolts to the engine. So, I'm looking for something new and good to start with. Then I may fill the voids with liquid urethane to firm them up or replace the bushings altogether.

Too bad I didn't see this earlier. I was at the shop yesterday. I have a boatload of spool mounts laying around. I can get you one next time I go down there if you're not in a big hurry.

For the life or me I can't figure out how I have collected so many of them.

Hey 'Zilla. That would be awesome. No hurry here whatsoever. The motor is getting swapped into an S-10 pickup - which I haven't even found one to buy yet.
I'm sure I am months away from actually needing some good mounts.
I've put my crappy Chinese mounts to work holding the motor on the test/run stand.

Cool. What body is going on it, and where approximately will you sit?

It will be put back together as a significantly shortened S10.
Here's a build thread that is just getting started --> https://www.s10forum.com/threads/ss-10.855639/

Obviously the dash and trans hump will need to be significantly modified. I expect (and hope!) to be able to sit in the normal place.

I'll post some updates on my turbo build thread.

Thanks. Very nice. I wonder if you ever looked at "Slantkota"? I was not the original builder, but did some mods and drove + raced + towed with it for several years.

I have more pics I could find I'm sure.
