Something doesn't check with your gearing and MPH.
After getting back, I found the old computer that had my Gtech runs on it, including that one... it was 4000 rpm, but got to 4200 before the run drops due to applied brakes.
So you are spot on. The simple HP calculator (no wind, centripetal calcs for tires, etc...) says a Duster with 150hp will top out about 130 mph, 196 hp will top out about 150,
215 a bit more than that...( so approx. 9:1 4 barrel RV cam, 10:1 Lou build 3/4 cam, and 11-12:1 engine...)

Can't be done?? I was watching Oprah the other day, and she told us never to say you can't do something. The only thing that is holding you back is yourself. Keep reaching for the stars and you can do anything. I gave that a lot of thought, and after I was done thinking I thought some more. Then, I started running. I ran all day and night, across many states. I had a huge crowd of people following me, and I grew filthy and my shoes fell apart many times. Suddenly, I stopped running. I just stopped. It finally sunk in - Oprah is an idiot. There are a lot of things that can't be done.
Where is the 'like' button? Lol
I'd like the 833 non o/d with a Gear Vendors. Reminder to attend swap meets.
