Putting some beefier torsion bars in my 68 BCuda.
Got new rubber seals (and clips) from Mopar Performance.
Manual says to put cupped end onto frame anchor point.
Problem is the small side hole seems way to small to slip
over the hex end of the bar. I tried it, and don't know how I
can get it on without stretching and possibly ripping the rubber
seal. Have any of you gone thru this? Do you put the seal
on the frame lip, hold it and force the bar thru it, or do you put the
bar thru the frame member and then force the seal onto
the bar and force it back to the frame lip?

I slipped the seal over the hex end that goes into the LCA and slid the seal down to the other end. Then it's just a matter of stretching the seal over the lip on the frame. It's not the easiest thing to do (because it's greasy and hard to stretch), but it will go on. You might want to use a small screwdriver to help get the seal over the lip.

What I did to get my seal on was to slide it on to a socket smaller than the heck and but bigger then the hole. This makes it a lot easier to get the seal on. I wouldn't suggest the screwdriver(might hurt it). If you get the right socket on you should be able to get the seal on in less than thirty seconds(the trick is finding the right socket size to make things work).

on the part that says smaller than the heck and but bigger than the hole it should be smaller than the hex but bigger than the hole.
