i just got my new front suspension in the car---wow. it was all stock before with an addco sway bar. i updated it to the following
-kept the addco bar
-add tubular adjustable upper arms from bigblockdart.com
-added f-body spindles
-.920 torsion bars--up 3 steps from previous stock bars
-all new busings installed

let me tell you, this thing scared the crap out of me on my twisty test road section. it prob would have taken even more speed through the turns, but i was already past the limit the last setup had so i just wanted to go as far as i felt comfortable for now. --i'll get used to it. it is obviously a littlebit rougher on the bumpy roads and road seams but a trip through the corners makes it all worth while.

Good news, Chad. I have had a few "wows" from friends who have ridden in and driven my '64 Dart, and it has a similar buildup to yours but with stock UCAs and offset bushings.

Have fun now!

Lou

yea, its a great feeling lou, the car has great road manners. i finally put in a new set of rear springs, they are the first set of split mono-leafs i got from cal-tracs for my big block dart. they couldnt handle that car so they made me another thicker set and they didnt want the old ones back. so i had these things with aluminum front bushings and i bought a set of urathane shackle sets from espo springs. it stiffened up the reay which already has a rear addco bar. i havent driven it yet to see if it wants to oversteer, im hoping being that they are mono leafs that they will lessen the oversteer i use to feel before the front end upgrade. i really dont want to remove the rear bar to reduce the oversteer because it does make a difference in my car. i think they final upgrade id like to make is a new box from firm feel with the highest firmness they offer. the stage 2 box they offer just isnt stiff enough for me, as i i have test drove 2 cars with them.
