Thanks Rick, the bike has been a part of my life, albeit on a back burner since I was 20 years old. 45 years. It will be one of the kids after I am gone.

I realigned the drivers door, it has been down in every picture of the car I have every seen!
Only moved it up a little bit, but it looks so much better.
Also moved the glass down a little and realigned the quarter glass at the same time.
Can't find window fuzzy, anyone have a source?

Started removing the Dana, need bolts, rod end bearings and some clevis.
Cute little thing.

well yeah. you take a truck axle and cut about 24" off each axle and tube to make it fit in the colt with wide tires they are small cute and cuddly.. makes you want to snuggle up with one on a camping trip.

Dana is clean and I have figured out all the parts they used to put it together.
Placing my Strange order tomorrow for the rear brakes.

I :?: think :?: it's very clean Cast / Steel.
It would be tough to weld the Ladder bars to the Rear in Al / Mg

Bearings are pressed off the axles, heli-coil in one of the cover screws, Strange brakes and master cylinder on order.
Looking at rear wheels to replace the draglites and new tires.
Look$ like Bogart Fly Series solid wheels.
Thank you to all the racers who have shared their speed secrets with me!

Been a while.
Just back from a trip to AZ.
I dropped in to Bogart Wheels in Phoenix.
I talked with Ricky Bogart about wheels and looked at a Fly Series wheel.
I am on the fence about the solid or 5 spoke wheel style for the Colt.
Need to decide this week and get them on order.
I have all the rod end bearings, clevis, jam nuts and grade 8 bolts to put the rear back in.
Talked with Liberty today, still waiting on the trans mods.
They are super busy and this 833 is not high priority.
