What brand bearings are preferred for boosted 6000rpm engine????

I don't think it matters much at all.

Just yesterday I bought some old stock Michigan bearings for my cast crank 225 build from Ebay seller cylysh30. This seller has many sets of standard size rod and main bearings for $17.99 each set with free shipping. I offered $15 each set and my offer was accepted.

I got old stock TRW from eBay also, from a place out of texas called spark-surplus. About $17 a set with free shipping.
I've bought quite a few parts from them over about the last year or so. They have a lot of goodies for our old cars and trucks
Which material of bearings would be best for your application? I like tri metal for most things but I don't run any of my stuff at 6000 either. I'd think that aluminum ones would be pounded out in short time on something like yours.
I'm building a forged crank engine but when I was looking it seems there were more cast crank ones out there on eBay. And some don't list application just a part number. Gotta watch that

Some of the racers like King bearings, and I have used those on one recent build and have stocked up on them. Those are easy to get new from Summit Racing and other outlets, and you can way undersize (0.040" - 0.060" under) for cranks that have been beat up or turned already.

Mostly, I have tended to use Michigan or Clevite 77 over the years and have bought old stock from Ebay as others mentioned. Now those brands are under Mahle, I believe, which is a good brand.

been seeing alot of King brand parts advertised lately, was wondering if they were worth a crap.

I have used them, without any problems. They have been doing a seminar on bearings, at the PRI trade show, for many years.

PS: I won a 'door prize" at the seminar several years, ago. It was for a "complete" engine bearing set. You should have seen the moderators face, when he asked what engine I wanted the bearings for, and I said "Chrysler slant six".

They came highly recommended by our friends who have been building race motors for circle track for 30 years. So I think they are good quality. That's what is in Ryan's and my race cars.

They're Israeli made, and their US customer service is quite responsive when I had a mix up in part numbers. I just bought a set for my build and am in the process of installing them. From what I had heard before buying, it appears they're a reputable brand.

It appears RockAuto's "Engine Tech" line of bearings may be rebadged Kings, although they could simply be grabbing whatever they have on hand and putting their label on it.

Do as you wish, but from experience in the plain bearing business

use
* tri metal bearing on steel cranks,,
* bi metal bearing on cast cranks,,

That takes advantage of synergy during the development eras of each product.

Will using as intended or swapping around either, be guaranteed to: cause problems or result in success?
No!
You will still need to get the clearances and oil pressures right.
Neither system is robust enough to over come installer or part error.
