power brake booster

Post subject: power brake booster

70 swinger.slant 6...Stock power disk brakes. My booster is shot. Doing a little research,I'm finding out I've got to send it out to be rebuilt??? Nobody has these things on a shelf ready to go??? Open for suggestions.

I've heard of a guy in the Portland OR area who has a good reputation for rebuilding them. Maybe DusterIdiot knows him. I think they call him 'BoosterBob' or some such nonsense like that

You should be able to get boosters from local parts stores. Kragen shows them in their listings online. Try www.rockauto.com too.

Dumb question; Would one from a 77 Volare fit an A body?? I got one of those laying around.
