Thanks Rob.

Yep things started to really slow up on saturday Morning so that makes sense that Jeff did not get a backup Pass.

So A 3 Race weekend at motormile?
Has that been confirmed with Lou and Motormile?

Greg

Hadn't heard anything about it but very unlikely I will be there for Sunday. But I'm perfectly fine if you want to plan a 3rd race.

Only 2 races at Motormile. I do not want to push anything with the new track managers.

Hope to see a bunch of ya there!!

Lou

Congratulations to Rick Covalt for winning the highly coveted Slant 6 Championship for 2022!

Rick sealed the deal at the last race of the season with winner and runner up finishes to jump ahead of Denny Baierl.

Rick came into the race with just 20 points to Denny's 45, so he knew he had to win at least two rounds... He won three! :D

There were four cars at the last race. Mark Charapich was Runner Up on Friday and Lou Madsen took the win on Saturday. Greg Ondayko was also there with Ruster.

We wound up with only 16 racers competing for points this year with two Rookies.

Denny Baierl driving Steven Nitti's 71 Duster set new 1/4 mile records in both the C and D unlimited classes. C/U was 10.8498 ET and 125.84 MPH, D/U was 10.9137 ET and 124.04 MPH. The car weighed 3,074# for C and 3,253# for D.

Mandi Gravatt is our Rookie of the Year in her second year racing with us (she participated in just one weekend last year, making her eligible again this year).

Someone named "Tink" raced with us at Clay City. That's all we know.

Not our best year with all of the cancellations and low car counts. Hopefully things will start looking up again next year.

EDIT: We had three Rookies. I didn't realize David Willis had not raced with us before. It was Gary Willis.

Here are the final points for 2022:
